Head on down to the War Memorial Complex for the 43rd Annual Barrio Fiesta this weekend. This celebration of Filipino culture runs Friday May 25th from 4-10 pm and Saturday May 26th from 10 am – 10 pm. The best reason to go is for the food…pansit, lumpia, cascaron, adobo and more Filipino delights….it’s all there.
Update on 5/26: Last night I got to eat the boneless fish, pansit, bibinka and lechon and it was all delicious. Today’s schedule includes dancing, search for Little Miss Barrio Fiesta, games and more.
